Read & discuss
A book, an essay, a question worth sitting with. Talk about what you learned, what you disagree with, and how it changes your thinking.
A volunteer-run circle to ask better questions, choose work worth your time, and help each other go further. Bring what you’re building, an idea you’re exploring, or experience someone else could use. Join in at your own pace.
Starting with friends.
Growing through introductions.
The reason we’re here
What deserves your time, investment, and focus? It helps to think that through with people you trust, especially when you’re building around a job and the rest of your life.
We’re starting a community where you can bring an unfinished idea, question each other thoughtfully, and get practical help. Reading, conversation, and testing give us more context to choose what to pursue and when to change direction.
AI expands what we can do. Human creativity, experience, and relationships help us decide where to put that ability. We’re stepping away from the accelerator model. No equity, pitch requirement, or selection committee. Just people learning and helping each other move forward.
Ways to join in
A book, an essay, a question worth sitting with. Talk about what you learned, what you disagree with, and how it changes your thinking.
Try a member’s app when you have time. Share what you attempted, where you got stuck, and what would make the experience better.
Is this problem worth pursuing? What are you missing? Think it through with the group, find someone to work alongside you, and offer what you can in return.
How we treat each other
You can ask a basic question or show something that broke. Feedback should be specific, kind, and useful.
Respect each other’s ideas and unfinished work. Keep private conversations private, give credit, and ask before using or sharing someone else’s work.
Use AI to expand what you can do. Bring your creativity, experience, and questions to the group so we can develop our thinking together.
Try a product. Read a draft. Make a thoughtful introduction. Help each person reach people, knowledge, and opportunities beyond their own circle.
Start in living rooms and free spaces. Bring the tools you already have. The first circle is free to join.
Our starting point
Built around working lives, with an initial focus on people in their late twenties and thirties. Builders, curious people, and helpful specialists all have a place here.
Your pace your way to take part
Volunteer-run, free to join, and shaped by the people who take part.
Seattle first. Room to grow.
FG is starting WCFC with a few friends and people they know. If this sounds like the room you’ve been looking for, reach out to FG or ask someone in the circle for an introduction. Tell us what you’d like from the group and what level of involvement would work for you.
